Ford Racing Record Breaker Nationals

Mean Street Performance is raring to go....The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will launch its 2010 drag racing season with back-to-back weekends of racing action that will offer excitement for nearly every fan. The Strip at LVMS roars to life on Jan. 29 with the return of the popular Nitro Blast-Off Pre-Season Test Session and the Pacific Street Car Association. The NHRA Nitro Blast-Off takes place just two weeks before the season-opener at Pomona, Calif., and it affords racers an excellent opportunity to fine-tune their cars in on a perfectly-prepared racing surface as they ready for the 2010 campaign. Along with the best in NHRA Top Fuel Dragster, Funny Car and Top Alcohol categories, the event also is hosting the top Pro Street and Outlaw 10.5 heads-up cars as part of the PSCA Record-Breaker. The Top Fuel Dragster, Funny Car and Top Alcohol categories will run three rounds of qualifying on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between rounds of qualification and eliminations for PSCA classes.
